More Headaches for McNeil HealthCare and Johnson & Johnson

Tylenol by VirtualErn The FDA has reported growing concerns over the manufacturing quality of McNeil Consumer HealthCare’s facilities. McNeil, the producer of many over-the-counter medications, has been frequently cited for unsatisfactory inspections. In February of this year, both McNeil Consumer HealthCare and Johnson & Johnson, McNeil’s parent company, were warned by the FDA to correct the problems noted by FDA investigators.

Launch of Healing Hearts Baby Loss Comfort Website


Since November (hence Prematurity Awareness Month) is at an end, I wanted to highlight a twitter party that focused on a very difficult topic to discuss: Losing a Baby (need more info on twitter parties? Read our blog: There’s No Party like a Twitter Party). This party was hosted by the 3 Green Angels and sponsored by Earth Mama Angel Baby who just launched their new Healing Hearts Baby Loss Comfort website. First Candle also joined the party to provide information for moms and dads who have suffered loss through miscarriages, stillbirths and other types of neonatal loss.

There's No Party Like a Twitter Party


You must be wondering…“What on Earth is a Twitter party?” A Twitter party is a real-time chat where twitter members can come together and discuss a specific topic. Usually there is a host, a sponsor and a panel of experts available to educate the participants and answer questions. Do You Dapple, Baby?


Finding healthier, safer products for babies is something we are passionate about here at Babies 411. The enormous amount of toxic chemicals our kids are exposed to on a daily basis is very concerning. Our air, food, water and consumer products are loaded with cancer-causing, hormone-disrupting and reproductive system-altering chemicals. Reducing the amount of toxins our kids are exposed to will hopefully decrease the currently alarming cancer, autism, infertility and birth defect rates.
